5 WAYS YOU CAN KEEP ON TRACK OF YOUR FITNESS GOALS

 

Be it your birthday or New Year resolution, everyone at some point in life will have a thought of working out. This motivation will last for a week or month and disappear into thin air. What would keep you going with your fitness goal? The resolution or healthy lifestyle or the change you see in yourself. Change in workout plan: Once you start with a plan, your body gets used to the number of calories that is shed every day. Following the same pattern will not let you reach the goals. Better change the workout plan (exercises) once you are comfortable with the former one. This way will not get you bored. I stopped it because it’s boring was the main reason to stop for many who started with so much enthusiasm. 

 

Weigh every morning: Checking your progress every day is a game-changer. It doesn’t mean that you would see noticeable changes the very next day. It minimum takes 4 weeks to see visible changes in a person. This might vary from person to person. You can also measure your body parts now and then. 

 

Why did you start? Always remind yourself, why you started. Have you achieved your goal? This will help you work out every day regardless of your soreness.

 

Reward yourself: You can set a few rewards for every small goal you achieve. Make sure the reward is a non-food item. Reward program in business is a triggering method that works here as well.

 

Stop worrying: Once you have decided to start the fitness journey, any role model will be in your way. Seeing and comparing with them would not help in any way. They have such a healthy body because of their hard work invested for years. Stay realistic and hold on to your fitness journey.
